Kind of fun, but pretty good mix of fun dance music too. I’m hoping to start “dj-ing” Sunday nights in Hollywood soon, don’t be surprised if you hear a lot of this playing. This guy looks like me. If I ate a lot more. And could dance. Ha. Just kidding. I can dance. And I’m way better looking than this guy. SUCKAAAS…
Sure, Halloween has come and gone WAY back when. But check out these great posters. I have an idea for an art show, maybe redo 10 or 15 of my fave posters here in my style, amp em up a bit. Hey, if they’re remaking all the old movies, why not remake the old posters too, right?
Nothing at all to do with Thanksgiving, but man, fun fun fun. Yes, it’s a REAL demolition derby but shot with tilt-shift focus making everything look miniaturized. Wait until the Mechazilla car comes out, too funny…
Yes, sad this is my return to my blog. A post of lists of things I want. Greedy, selfish me. I’ve made a few lists on big shopping sites that I frequent, as well as individual items. Of course, some of items are off the charts in terms of price, but just food for thought, you know? God, I like stuff. Oh, and ladies, don’t know what to get your techy/nerdy/comic book reading/fatty mcfatterson/photo-enjoying/designerd friend/boyfriend/lover/husband? I’d say this is a pretty good place to start… (more…)
New book out with a collection illustrator/comic book artist Charles Burns. I loved his series Black Hole. Very dark, demented stuff in there. Buy the new book and preview it here.
I’ve always loved eboy‘s work. Kings of pixelated art and illustrations, they just come out with this killer laptop skin among a few other designs. Yes, please. They’ve been doing some vinyl toys now too, check those out here. Yes, please, as well.

Wow. People sure like to spend time drawing. That’s why i like ‘em. This guy recorded an illustration project from screengrabs. A LOT of work…
MUTO a wall-painted animation by BLU from blu on Vimeo.
This video has been getting some buzz on the web. Crazy wall animation done over a 6 month period or so. Ridiculous. How they hell did they paint so high on the wall?!?!
I made fart. I mean art. This is my piece for the Lost 10 Year Anniversary art show I just participated in. Done pretty damn fast (three nights work?) with a black marker and some acrylic paint on a 30″x 40″ canvas. Click the image above to see it larger. Sorry the photo sucks, hopefully I can take a better one when I get it back at the end of the show, May 24th. You can go see it whenever you like at Meltdown Comics until then!
Can’t wait to do more now, definitely need to experiment with the materials a little more too. Not my best, but just glad I got a large piece done finally. And used that damn blank canvas that’s been sitting around for more than 5 years!
Hey people (all three of you! Hi Mom!). I’m in an art show this saturday, tomorrow night, at Meltdown Comics on Sunset Blvd. 7-10pm. 7522 Sunset Blvd. LA, CA 90046. Hope some of you can make it out, I’ll have one large piece I’ve been working on. See you there!
